ANM(Auxiliary Nurse Midwife)

Bachelor of Science (Nursing) prepares nurses for a wide variety of professional roles and graduate study. Course work includes nursing science, research, leadership, and related sciences that inform the practice of nursing. It also provides the student with general education in math, humanities and social sciences. An undergraduate degree affords opportunities for greater career advancement and higher salary options. It is often a prerequisite for teaching, administrative, consulting and research roles.

B. Sc. Nursing follows the syllabus prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council. The aim of this program is to prepare graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services, who can make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights of individuals in pursuit of health.

Career Options

The students may function in the hospital, community - nursing services and conduct research studies in the areas of Nursing Practice. They are also expected to assume the role of teacher, supervisor and manager in a clinical/public health setting.

Age limit: completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st Dec of the corresponding year.

Educational Qualification : 10+1,10+2 examination or other qualification examination in place of 10+2 preferably science group.

Eligibility Criteria : age above 17 10+2 from recognized board or university science ( physics ,chemistry ,biology ) & English minimum aggregate of 45 % of marks(PCBE). Selection of candidate entrance will be based on the examination held by university (PMET) and also direct admission to college above set criteria is must.

Mode of Language of Teaching: English


Commencement duration of course: Aug-Oct* every year & 4 year of including internship.
