Diploma (General Nursing and Midwifery) is a 4 year course, minimum eligibility for which is an intermediate(10+2)in science. Nursing is the art of taking care of sick people and midwifery is a profession that provides assistance to a mother during labor as well as pregnancy. Subjects studied under this degree are Biological Science, Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, Behavioral Science, Psychology, Sociology, Fundamentals of Nursing and First Aid.
